Basic Stitch Guide

I printed this and laminated it to keep on hand for a handy quick reference guide.

The embroidery stitch guide has very clear pictures and instructions. It has been very helpful for me.
I do struggle sometimes understanding written pattern instructions. I much prefer to actually watch a video of someone showing you how to embroider a different shape to a leaf or flower petals. It would be brilliant if there was a short video on You-Tube or if there had been a CD of the projects in The Kew Book of Nature Samplers with the book. Which I am just finishing the first project.

I am new to embroidery. When I came across Trish's website, I was over the moon. Her work is beautiful. I downloaded the "Embroidery Stitch Guide" so that I could have something in front of me when I sew. The instructions are easy to read and follow along. It is clearly written out and pictured in captions to follow. I can see and understand each step, even as a beginner.
