Iron on transfers are available in packs for most of my PDF patterns. Each pack has a list of the patterns included so you can find the one you are looking for.
Iron on transfers for books
The Kew book of embroidered flowers includes transfers. My previous books do not include transfers, but there is a transfer book available which includes all the transfers for my four most recent books:
- Whitework with colour
- Colour Confidence
- Miniature Needlepainting
- Needlepainting for Beginners.
Will the ink from the iron on transfers wash out.
The ink is indelible and will not wash out.
Will the iron on transfers work with any fabric
The iron on transfers works best with the linen or cotton fabric in my shop. They can also be used with a high count fabric, smooth, closely woven cotton fabric but will be slightly less clear then on linen.
Please note that that transfers will not work with silk, mixed or texturized fabric. The fabric needs to be a high count (200ct or higher) closely woven, smooth weave. Here is some information on fabric.
How to use an iron on transfer
Note it helps to pre-heat your fabric first, to obtain a clear transfer.
