COSMO Embroidery Floss, manufactured in Japan, has a wide assortment of 501 beautiful colors. They are made from superior quality raw cotton in vivid colors and soft silky textures. Cosmo is renowned and beloved in Japan and all over the world including North America, Asia, Europe and Australia.
Why I use Cosmo embroidery floss
There is no doubt that Cosmo floss is a superior thread. It has a wonderful range of unique colors that are not available in other brands such as DMC or Anchor. The floss glides smoothly through the fabric, does not snag or knot and is a joy to use for my Needlepainting embroidery especially when I need a specific shade to enhance my design. I plan to use them more often in my designs and book projects in the future.
At present they are not easily obtainable in all parts of the world, but I would love to see them become a staple in our embroidery stash and know that the company Cosmo Lecien and the embroidery community are doing everything they can to make this a reality.
