FABRIC FOR IRON ON TRANSFERS
You will achieve a clearer outline on linen fabric then cotton, but the line is still visible on cotton. Iron on transfers CANNOT be used on silk fabric. The transfers can be used 1 - 2 times successfully.
How To use Iron On Transfers
Ensure your iron is set to the hottest dry setting. Iron the fabric to remove creases
Hold iron on fabric for a few seconds to pre-heat area, and remove any moisture.
Place transfer paper face down on to fabric. Ensure it is centered on fabric.
Place hot iron on top of transfer paper and hold in place for about 1 - 2 minutes. Ensure that the iron is not scorching your fabric. To prevent scorching you can place a piece of baking paper (parchment paper) on top of the fabric.
Lift paper, outline will be transferred on to fabric. Transfers can be used 1 - 2 times successfully, although the second print may be more faded.
